It’s nice to be a leader in a particular segment. Trouble is, you can get pigeon-holed. While dominant in dental and disability insurance among smaller companies, Guardian was less of a force in mid-market and larger.
It’s all about establishing credibility.
Guardian had a good story to tell about their size, reputation, outreach to providers and focus on patients. They just needed to present it in a more compelling way. The answer was two very factual, but very human videos for dental and disability.
Reaching more brokers and employers was key.
Making the videos part of a direct-marketing campaign helped increase viewership and land sales meetings – greatly increasing recognition of our client as a legit contender in the mid- and big-market.
