It’s official. Twitter has become de rigueur for political campaign marketing. There were more than 31 million election-related tweets on Election Night – more than 370,000 alone in the minute that the President when over the top. The newly reelected President chose to tweet a victory message even before taking the stage in Chicago. One of his tweets that evening read “Four more years” and showed him hugging his wife. It was the most retweeted tweet in the history of Twitter.
