Increase mobile ad viewership 35% by adding video.

We’ve always known that visuals can increase comprehension by as much as seven times over simple text. Taking that a step further, a recent Medialets study showed that mobile ads with video recorded 35% higher engagement rates than static visuals. Yet only 30% of mobile ads on tablets and 12% on smartphones contain video.

Clearly there’s opportunity here. And, if you combine that video with some form of interactivity, engagement rates increase even more.
